Myers:

      A and C Myers and their two children are currently serving in the Middle East with Mission to Unreached Peoples (www.mup.org).  They began their service in January of 2008 and will spend the first one to two years concentrating on learning the language before getting an English teaching job.  They are also a part of a church planting team that includes two other families who will be working together to see a fellowship started in a city where no fellowship exists.  

The other two families have already moved to the target city and are seeing many people come to Christ, as well as a growth in the church there.

The Myers are preparing to move to their target city in the next few months. Please pray for wisdom as they prepare for this as they have many difficult decisions to make.

     South Dakota Prison Chaplains Association was formed in 1995 after the Governor eliminated state funding for the chaplains position at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls, SD. Our ministry is totally funded by churches and individuals who see the need for prison chaplains. In 2003 we started a church within the maximum security unit of the South Dakota State Penitentiary. The inmates named the church - Prison Lighthouse Fellowship. Chaplain Regan Beauchamp and his wife Becky lead the church along with an inmate council elected by the inmates and an outside board. We worship on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. We invite churches or individuals to come in and worship with us. We try to have 6 - 10 outside visitors every week.      Camp Judson provides Christian camping in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. It is dedicated to providing people of all ages for an opportunity for a Christian experience with Adult, Family, and Youth Camps scheduled throughout the summer. Our unique outdoor setting provides an opportunity for people within a Christian community to know and grow in Jesus Christ. This year our cabin to be praying for is cabin #2.
